Bosque Lya
Bold, fruity and balanced. This natural processed red bourbon is a great example of the complexity that we can find in the Central Americas. This coffee boasts bright fruity flavours, reminding us of nectarine and pineapple, but with a bold chocolate praline flavour to accompany it, makes this a really versatile coffee. If you enjoy bold, fruity coffees, this coffee is for you. On espresso it delivers an excellent texture and body, whilst bringing bright fruity notes from almost boozy nectarine and pineapple with a smooth chocolatey finish. Putting this in any milk based espresso drinks brings an approachable, yet different flavour to most South and Central American coffees you may have had before! On filter, this delivers clean, bright fruity flavours with the body that is classic to a naturally processed coffee and makes a great v60 or other filter brews!
This coffee is grown in the shades of the rainforest in western El Salvador, near the Guatemalan border, Bosque Lya sits at the foot of the dramatic, towering El Chingo volcano. This rich, biodiverse region brings rich fertile soil and a range of wildlife - critical to keep the balance of nature and provide an environment that can nurture sustainable farming.
