Uganda Masaba

Bordering between Uganda and Kenya you will find the oldest volcano on the African continent, Mount Elgon. With access to the rich volcanic soil, high altitude and heavy rainfall you have the perfect environment to produce high-end Arabica coffee.

Masaba supports the Friends of Mothers Initiative, a charity that looks to close the gender pay gap that currently exists in the Ugandan coffee market. The Friends of Mothers Initiative currently works with over 200 women across 7 villages following the mantra: “Bright Beans, Bright Future”.

This Ugandan coffee is sourced from numerous small holder farms that make up 99% of Uganda’s coffee growing force. With 1.8 million household incomes relying on coffee farms in Uganda, Masaba supports just shy of that with its coffee production.
